1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using The Line, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Fitness and Health Disclaimer
The Line provides fitness programming, workout guidance, performance tracking, and educational content. It is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing a training program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, or health concern.
You are responsible for training safely, using proper equipment, and stopping any workout if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or unusual discomfort.
3. Subscriptions
The Line may offer paid subscriptions such as The Line Pro. Subscriptions may be available on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis and can unlock premium programs, workout content, training analytics, Apple Health workout linking, planning tools, and other premium features.
- Payment is charged through your Apple ID / App Store account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
- Subscription availability and periods may vary by region.
4. Account and Access
You may browse parts of The Line without an account. Certain actions, including enrolling in a program, starting workout sessions, saving workout progress to your account, syncing across devices, restoring cloud workout history, and using some paid features, may require creating or signing in to an account.
The Line uses Firebase Authentication for account creation, sign-in, password reset, and account deletion. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for maintaining access to the email, Apple ID, or Google account used to sign in.
The Line may use Apple services, Google Sign-In, RevenueCat, Firebase, Cloud Firestore, Firebase App Check, and device-level data to manage app access, purchases, sync, analytics, reliability, and abuse prevention. You are responsible for maintaining access to the Apple ID used for purchases.
5. Apple Health
If you grant permission, The Line may read selected Apple Health data to show training signals and help link completed workouts with Apple Fitness / Health workout entries. You can revoke Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
6. Cloud Sync and Local Data
If you are signed in, eligible workout history, active program state, and selected preferences may sync through Cloud Firestore. Sync availability can depend on network connection, account status, service availability, and app version.
Data created while signed out may remain local to the device and may not be recoverable if the app is deleted, the device is lost, or local storage is cleared. The Line is not responsible for loss of local-only data.
7. Account Deletion
You may request account deletion from the Account screen. Deleting your account is intended to remove your Firebase account and associated cloud workout data and preferences that we manage for that account. Some records may be retained only where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, or operational reasons.
8. Content Ownership
All app content, designs, workout structures, copy, images, and software are owned by The Line or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or reproduce app content without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Line is not liable for injuries, damages, data loss, subscription issues caused by third-party platforms, or indirect losses arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
