1. Information We Collect
- Training preferences such as mission, experience level, planning choices, and app settings.
- Workout data such as completed sessions, duration, movements, rounds, and linked health workout summaries.
- Account information when you create or sign in to an account, such as your Firebase user ID, email address if you use email sign-in, and authentication provider details such as Apple or Google sign-in.
- Apple Health data, only if you grant permission, such as active energy, heart rate, distance, steps, resting heart rate, and VO2 max where available.
- Subscription and entitlement status through RevenueCat.
- Analytics, crash logs, and diagnostic data through services such as Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
2. Apple Health
The Line only accesses Apple Health data after you grant permission. Health data is used to display training signals, workout health charts, and manual workout linking. We do not use Apple Health data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
You can manage or revoke Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
3. How We Use Data
- To provide workout programs, session flow, progress tracking, and training history.
- To create and manage your account, sign you in, reset your password, and sync eligible workout history and program state across devices.
- To personalize catalog ordering and planning suggestions.
- To verify subscription access and restore purchases.
- To improve app performance, fix crashes, and understand feature usage.
4. Third-Party Services
The Line may use third-party providers to operate the app:
- RevenueCat for subscriptions, purchase status, entitlements, paywalls, and customer center.
- Firebase Authentication for account creation, sign-in, sign-out, password reset, and account deletion.
- Cloud Firestore for syncing eligible workout history, active program state, and user preferences for signed-in accounts.
- Firebase App Check to help protect backend services from abuse by verifying legitimate app requests.
- Firebase Analytics for aggregated product analytics.
- Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and diagnostics.
- Google Sign-In if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Apple HealthKit for permission-based health data access.
5. Data Storage
Some data is stored locally on your device, including preferences, workout state, and completed workout history. If you are signed in, eligible workout history, active program state, and selected preferences may also be stored in Cloud Firestore so they can be restored or synced across devices. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat and Apple. Crash and analytics data may be processed by Firebase.
If you use The Line while signed out, certain device-local data may remain only on that device and may not be recoverable if the app is deleted.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as needed to operate the app, process subscriptions, provide analytics, diagnose crashes, comply with law, or protect the app and users.
7. Your Choices
- You can browse parts of the app while signed out, but account-based features such as enrolling in programs, starting workout sessions, saving progress to your account, and syncing across devices require sign-in.
- You can disable Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings or through The Line Pro management screen.
- You can sign out or request account deletion from the Account screen. Account deletion removes the Firebase account and associated cloud data we manage for that account, subject to legal, security, or operational retention requirements.
- You can contact us to ask privacy-related questions.
8. Children
The Line is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us.
9. Contact
